Privacy Policy

Right ETF is published by Radif Partners. This policy explains what happens to your data when you compare ETFs, run the investment simulator or keep a watchlist: in short, your lists stay in your browser, the site measures its audience with Google Analytics cookies and shows no advertising.

What the site handles, and where it stays:

• No account, no sign-up form and no email address needed to use the screener, the comparison tool or the simulator
• The ETFs on your watchlist, in a comparison or in a model portfolio, your simulator answers, your recent searches and your theme: kept in your browser's local storage only, never sent to us
• Audience measurement with Google Analytics, which sets the _ga and _ga_6VY3W0JDL4 cookies (13 months at most, no advertising)
• A technical, anonymous measurement of the site's stability with Microsoft Clarity running without cookies (errors, loading times, clicks that do nothing, scrolling), with page content and anything you type masked
• The technical logs of our host, GitHub Pages, and the email you send if you write to contact@rightetf.com

Right ETF sets the Google Analytics audience measurement cookies and those alone: _ga, which tells visitors apart with a random identifier, and _ga_6VY3W0JDL4, which keeps the state of the visit, both for 13 months at most (390 days), not extended on each visit (Google's default is 2 years). No advertising or social media cookie is set, and Microsoft Clarity runs in its cookie-free mode, so none of _clck, _clsk, MUID or CLID is written. The lists and settings mentioned above sit in your browser's local storage, which is never transmitted; clearing the site data in your browser deletes them.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful: pages viewed, referring page, visit length, device and browser type, approximate country and city. The IP address is anonymised: Google Analytics 4 neither logs nor stores it. The page address sent to Google is stripped of its parameters. Ad storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off, and the data is shared with no advertiser. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting as processor (Article 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Retention at Google: 14 months, then deletion. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the audience of the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To spot broken pages, a slow screener or buttons that do not respond, we use Microsoft Clarity without cookies. Each page view gets its own identifier, so two pages of the same visit are not linked together, and page content as well as every field (amounts, tickers, simulator answers) is masked by the code before anything leaves your browser. The data is processed by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland; recordings are kept for 30 days and aggregated statistics for 13 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Apart from Google Analytics, Right ETF uses no other measurement tool and no advertising, and shares nothing with data brokers.

To opt out of the stability measurement, block the domain clarity.ms in your browser or with a content blocker, or write to contact@rightetf.com. Under the GDPR you may ask for access to or erasure of personal data; with no user accounts, the publisher usually holds nothing that identifies you apart from the emails it receives. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, cnil.fr).

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
